We are pleased to announce the twentieth election for the Crossref Board of Directors, and enclose the Notice of Meeting in the body of this email.

Candidates will be elected at the Annual Meeting for three-year terms to fill six of the sixteen Board seats whose terms expire this year. There are four small seats and two large seats up for election. Please review the candidates and their statements as well as other election materials at (https://www.crossref.org/board-and-governance/elections/ ) prior to voting online. Voting is done by electronic proxy, in which the Member directs a proxy holder how to cast the Member’s vote at the Annual Members Meeting.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS

NOTICE is given to the Members of Publishers International Linking Association, Inc., a New York not-for-profit corporation (the 'Corporation') known as Crossref, that the annual meeting of Members will be held online using Zoom, on November 10th, 2020, at 15:00 UTC, for the following purposes:

(a)    To elect six directors of the Corporation, to serve three-year terms ending prior to the first board meeting in 2024; and

(b)    To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.

The date fixed by the Board of Directors as the record date for the determination of Members entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting is the close of business on September 14, 2020.
