초록1	본 연구는 Das and Teng (1998)의 명제를 지지하며 이를 계약기반 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 상황에서 신뢰(trust)와 통제(control) 그리고 파트너간 상호협력(cooperation)에 대한 확신(confidence)의 관계를 실증적으로 검증하였다. Das and Teng (1998)은 신뢰 수준과 통제 수준을 상호보완적(제로섬)인 관계가 아닌 부가적인(supplemental) 관계로 가정하고, 신뢰와 통제수준의 합이 파트너 간 상호협력에 대한 확신(confidence in partner cooperation)에 영향을 미친다는 명제를 제안하였다. 이에 본 연구는 i) 고객기업이 IT서비스 공급업체에 대해 갖는 신뢰와 통제 수준이 파트너 간 상호협력에 대한 확신에 미치는 영향과 지역별(영호남) 차이, ii) 확신이 아웃소싱 성과에 미치는 영향과 지역별(영호남) 차이를 각기 실증적으로 검증하였다. 그 결과, 두 지역 통합샘플의 경우, 신뢰-확신의 경로계수만 유의하지 않았을 뿐 신뢰-아웃소싱 성과, 통제-아웃소싱 성과, 통제-확신, 확신-아웃소싱 성과의 경로계수는 모두 유의하였다. 또한 신뢰보다는 통제가 상호협력에 대한 확신에 더 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 이는 영남지역에 비해 호남지역에 더 강하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과들의 시사점을 기존 연구결과와 연계하여 서술하였으며, 연구의 의의와 한계점을 제시하였다.

초록2	Supporting Das and Tengs proposition(1998), relationships among trust, control, and confidence on partner cooperation in the context of contract-based information system outsourcing were empirically examined. They assumed a supplemental relationship between trust and control rather than complementary (zero-sum), and then proposed that the aggregation of trust and control will affect the confidence in partner cooperation in a positive manner. For this, this paper investigated i) how trust and control levels perceived by customer companies affect the confidence in partner(supplier) cooperation, and how the relationships are different between two areas (Youngnam and Honam), and ii) how the confidence affect performances of outsourcing, and how the relationships are different between the two areas. As results, using a combined sample of two areas, path coefficients of trust- outsourcing performances, control-outsourcing performances, control-confidence, and confidence-outsourcing performance except trust-confidence were all significant. Besides, a relationship between control and confidence was stronger than one between trust and confidence, and this tendency was more evident in Honam area. Implications of these findings were discussed related to previous literature, and contributions and limitations of this research were further described.
