초록1 본 연구는 국내 시장 시가총액을 기준으로 노동조합이 조직된 총 223개의 기업을 선정하여 노동조합에 의한 사회적 책임 활동에의 참여가 기업 재무성과에 미치는 영향을 규명함으로써 노동조합의 사회적 책임 활동의 특징 및 기업에 대한 영향력을 밝히고자 하였다. 이러한 노동
조합이라는 새로운 이해관계자 및 행위주체에 따른 사회적 책임 활동이 기업 재무성과에 미치
는 영향에 대한 실증적인 연구결과의 제시는 향후 기업의 사회적 책임 활동 추진에 긍정적인
영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다.
노조의 사회적 책임(USR)과 기업의 장·단기 재무성과 사이의 관계를 분석한 결과, 노사의 사회공헌·사회봉사협약 및 활동 유무는 기업의 단기 재무성과에 노조할당제 존재 여부는 기업 의 장기 재무성과에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 하지만 노동조합의 회계감사시스템 존재 여부와 노조 회의 결과 공개 여부는 기업의 재무성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다.
초록2 The purpose of this study is to analyze effects of Union Social Responsibility(USR) on firm's Financial Performance. This research analyzes the effects of USR in the various perspectives to supplement the limitations. Our research uses UCSR_index2011 survey and Kis-Value presented by the Korea Information Service Inc.
The primary objectives of this empirical study are to analysis the effect of various USR factors on the financial performance. In advance, this research separates the financial performance into short-term gain and long-term return, and reveals that the relationship between USR and each performance. Analysis showed that USR activities also have a significant effects on financial performance.
Based on discussion of findings, this research discussed study implications and limitations. Additionally this study allows delineation of relevant suggestion for future study. Anyhow, there is a need for more research to consider unobserved variables.
