초록1 이 연구는 대학 수업에서 교수의 유머 스타일과 감성적 실재감 그리고 몰입간의 관계를 규명함으로써, 대학 수업에서 유머 사용의 적절한 지침을 제공하고자 하였다. 2012년 봄 학기에 대전 소재 국립대학 한 곳으로부터 613명의 학생으로부터 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대학수업에서 교수의 유머 스타일 중 관련 유머와 저속한 유머는 감성적 실재감에 정의 영향을 미치고, 학생 비하 유머는 감성적 실재감에 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 교수의 유머 스타일 중 관련 유머와 교수 자신 비하 유머는 몰입에 정의 영향을 미친 반면, 저속한 유머는 몰입에 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 감성적 실재감은 몰입에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 제공하고, 연구의 한계점과 미래 연구방향을 제시하였다.
초록2 The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among instructor’s humor styles, emotional presence, and flow in university classes. Data were collected from 613 students at H university during the spring semester of 2012. The collected data was analyzed by using structural equations modeling.
The research findings are summarized as follows: First, it turned out that related humor, vulgar humor, and students-disparaging had significant influences on emotional presence. Second, related humor and vulgar humor influenced flow. Third, emotional presence had a significant influence on flow. These findings offer theoretical background and practical implications for university students to enhance learning by promoting instructor humor, emotional presence, and flow.
