초록1 본 연구는 보건의료 경영의 새로운 세부적 관심분야로 대두되고 있는 장례서비스 경영학 및 관련 자격증 도입과 향상을 위한 제안을 함으로써 초기 도입과정에서의 혼란을 피하고, 선진 장사문화 발전에 기여하고, 대학 학과 운영과정은 물론 국가자격증 제도정착을 위하여 필요한 교육제도의 검토, 장례 경영지도사의 역할 및 규정, 교육과정, 교육기관 등에 대한 규정 등 관련하여 총괄적인 절차와 내용을 수립하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로는 관련 문헌 검토, 국내외 유사 사례 검토, 현장 전문가회의 및 자문회의, 장례 경영지도사 교육과정 관련 표적집단면접법(focus group interview) 분석, 교육기관 등 현지조사와 더불어 외부전문가 자문을 통하여 그 교육방법, 자격관리 및 교육방법을 제시하였다.
초록2 A funeral in Korea is a ceremony for celebrating, sanctifying, and remembering the life passed away. Funerary customs and processes comprise the complex of beliefs and practices used by a culture to remember the dead. They vary widely between religious affiliations within cultures and funerary service management is the new demands of the current times produced for burial life cycles to be met. Recently, as the educational institution found that there is a need to strengthen education quality as in the field of funeral ceremony management the education-advanced nations considered the eduction to be another domain area. Also they made an effort to reconsider the educational quality in addition to reconstruction of management system. However, the traditional way of educational management system in Korea ignores educational reform and utility in spite of changes of public needs. In this paper, we tried to construct funeral ceremony educational framework focussed on as one of the service management categories to meet the organizational extension, franchise or network-driven collaborations, and public marketing.
