초록1 운영역량은 일정한 순서에 따라 개선할 때 시너지효과가 있기 때문에 어떤 역량을 먼저 개선할 것인가는 전략적으로 중요한 문제이다. 그러나 운영역량간의 관계에 대한 오랜 동안의 논의에도 불구하고 이들 간의 인과관계를 실증적으로 분석한 연구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구는 운영역량간의 관계를 BSC의 전략적 인과관계에 근거하여 운영역량 사이의 순차적 인과관계와 운영역량과 기업성과의 순환적 관계를 제안하고, 구조방정식모형을 이용하여 운영역량 사이의 인과관계 및 운영역량과 기업성과의 순환적인 관계를 실증적으로 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결론에서 연구의 결과 및 시사점 그리고 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.
초록2 The appropriate sequence of operations capabilities improvement is important to build cumulative and lasting manufacturing capability in that it leads to the synergy effect in terms of the effectiveness of the improvement due to the directional relationship among the capabilities. Few papers have conducted empirical investigation on causal relationship among operations capabilities while many literatures have discussed the relationship qualitatively. This study, on the basis of BSC strategic perspective, proposed a model of the casual relationship in the sequence of quality, flexibility, delivery, cost and performance as well as a cyclic relationship between the capability and organizational performance. Our empirical analysis confirmed the casual relationship and the cyclic relationship described by structural equation model. This paper concludes with contribution of this study, managerial implication of the research findings and further research issues.
